Understanding Dissociative Identity Disorder | Catriona Morten

Описание к видео Understanding Dissociative Identity Disorder | Catriona Morten

When people hear Dissociative Identity Disorder they have a fixed idea of what that looks like, and often a fear and misunderstanding around this diagnosis.

Most of us have different versions of ourselves, and we all have the ability to dissociate. These three things are connected and interplay with each other, but Dissociative Identity Disorder has specific features which need to be understood in order to take the fear factor out.

In today's video, Catriona looks at DID, what's it's like for people living with it, how it behaves and how to treat it, looking at how it connects to dissociation and the different parts of us.
