This 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III is ready to cruise. 1969 marks the re-debut of the Mark III; Lincoln had dropped the Mark III from their lineup in 1958 due to its lack of success. Lincoln re-introduced the Mark III in the middle of 1968, and it was a huge success. 1971 saw the Golden Anniversary for the Lincoln marquee, and the third and final year of Mark III production. The current Mark III you see before you is a well maintained car that has just been garage kept. The big 460 CID engine runs great, and has 93411 miles on it. With regular maintenance, this MK III will last another 40 years. The air conditioning is system is intact, but it will need some servicing. The white paint is original to the car. It does some age, but is still in very good shape. The white leather interior has minor wear to the driver’s seat, but otherwise is in excellent condition.
