LIVE : തമിഴക വെട്രി കഴകത്തിൻ്റെ പതാക പുറത്തിറക്കി നടന്‍ വിജയ്. ചെന്നൈ പനയൂരിലുള്ള പാർട്ടി ആസ്ഥാനത്ത് രാവിലെയാണ് വിജയ് പതാകയുയർത്തിയത്. ചുവപ്പും മഞ്ഞയുമാണ് പതാകയുടെ നിറം. വാകപ്പൂവിന് ഇരുവശത്തായി രണ്ട് ആനകൾ നിൽക്കുന്ന ചിഹ്നവും പതാകയിലുണ്ട്. 30 അടിയിലധികം ഉയരമുള്ള കൊടിമരത്തിൽ വിജയ്, പാർട്ടി പതാക ഉയർത്തി. ജാതിയുടെയും മതത്തിന്റെയും ലിംഗത്തിന്റെയും പേരിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ താൻ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുമെന്ന് വിജയ് പറഞ്ഞു. പ്രതിനിധികൾ ചടങ്ങിൽ പാർട്ടി പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചൊല്ലി.

Actor Vijay released the flag of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam. Vijay hoisted the flag in the morning at the party headquarters in Panayur, Chennai. The two-coloured maroon and yellow flag has elephants on both sides and a peacock surrounded by stars at the centre. Vijay hoisted the party flag on a flagpole over 30 feet tall. Vijay said that he will eliminate differences based on caste, religion and gender. The delegates recited the party pledge at the function.
