My Narrative Script

Title: "THEY CHOSE WAR: A Cambodian Voice Against Aggression"

"Silence falls heavy on our land tonight. But it is not the silence of peace. It is the silence before thunder, the silence after a betrayal. A silence broken... by Thai guns.
We speak to the world. Not to beg, but to tell the truth that Thailand tries to bury beneath lies broadcast on their screens.

Remember May 28th. Remember our soldier, fallen on our soil, in the Emerald Triangle. His blood spilled on Cambodian earth by Thai fire. That was their first shot. Not the last.
When we reached out, hand open for peace in early June? They slammed the door. Refusal. Non-cooperation. Their answer to dialogue was a fist.

So, we chose the path of law. On June 15th, we went to the world's highest court, the ICJ. We said, 'Let justice decide this border.' We trust the law. We are not afraid of its judgment.
But Thailand? They are terrified. Terrified of the truth the ICJ would reveal. Terrified to stand before the law they claim to uphold. They dare not face the gavel, so they reach for the gun.
June 22nd. When threats weren't enough – threats to starve us of fuel, cut our light, silence our voices – they closed the borders. They tried to strangle us. We stopped their goods, a shield, not a sword.

Then, the theatre of lies. Landmines laid long ago in the scars of past conflicts – stepped on by their own soldiers. Twice. And each time? A chorus of blame directed at us. Baseless. Cruel. A manufactured outrage for their cameras.

July 23rd. Five Thai soldiers stumble, and what is Thailand's 'diplomatic' response? They expel our ambassador! An act of pure, childish rage. They recall theirs. Diplomacy dies at their command.

And then... July 24th. At Ta Muen Thom. Their General shuts the border. Blocks the people. And then... they pull the trigger. Thai guns fire first. Thai boots step forward. There is no ambiguity. Only aggression.

Look at their leaders! A Prime Minister suspended, politics in chaos, secrets spilling from leaked calls. This is not strength. This is instability lashing out. They use our sacred soil, our people's safety, as a stage for their desperate performance. They invade to distract. They kill to cling to power.

They fill their media with poison, painting Cambodia as the aggressor? Look at the facts! Look at the dates! Look at the map and the law! We stand on ground that is ours by right, by history, by international recognition. We sought the court. We sought peace.

They chose war.
They chose to kill our soldier.
They chose to reject our talks.
They chose to blockade, to threaten, to blame.
They chose to expel our voice.
They chose to pull the trigger.

And for what? Pride that cannot accept law? Ambition that feeds on conflict?
To the Thai Leaders and Generals: Your madness is measured in Cambodian blood and Thai blood. Your recklessness endangers every farmer near the border, every child sleeping in a village. Your refusal to face the ICJ screams your guilt to the world. Stop this invasion. Stop this madness. You are not defending Thailand; you are destroying its soul and spilling innocent blood on both sides.

To the International Community: See through their media smokescreen! Hear the echo of that first Thai gunshot on May 28th! See the pattern of their aggression! Do not be silent while Cambodia defends its sovereign soil against an invasion launched by a government too unstable and too afraid to face justice. Demand Thailand withdraw. Demand they engage with the ICJ. Demand accountability. Stand with the law. Stand with Cambodia. #StandWithCambodia
To the Thai People: We know your heart is not this war. We know you seek peace. Tell your leaders this violence in your name is not your will. Demand they choose the courtroom, not the battlefield.

Cambodia is patient. Cambodia is resilient. We believe in justice. But make no mistake: We will defend our land. We will defend our people. We chose the ICJ. Thailand chose the gun. The world must choose which path it supports.

The thunder comes. But we stand firm. On our land. By our right. For our peace."
