Reading Norwegian Sweaters // Casual Friday #28

Описание к видео Reading Norwegian Sweaters // Casual Friday #28

This week, I follow up on my Technique Tuesday video on counting rows in knitting with tips on how to adjust your pattern so that you can get the Cast On edge you want facing the right side of the work; also, I talk about my trip to the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum in Decorah, Iowa, where I got to examine the wrong side of more than 20 sweaters knit in Norway over the past 100+ years. I learned a lot by reading the wrong side of those sweaters.

Note: the sweaters (insides and outsides) are all part of the Vesterheim's collection of sweaters hand knit in Norway. Museum artifact numbers of each sweater shown are displayed with the image of the sweater. https://vesterheim.org/
