AWAKE Cosmetic Surgeries

Would you ever consider being awake during your facial surgery, breast augmentation, liposuction or tummy tuck? Yesterday, Dr. Novoa narrated a LIVE Webcam AWAKE abdominal and breast liposuction and fat transfer ON HIMSELF. He provided a link on ustream for the general public to watch the surgery being performed LIVE. In order to show that AWAKE procedures were safe and effective, Dr. Novoa did not take any preoperative or intraoperative pain medication, relying on the tumescent lidocaine solution which is key to performing AWAKE procedures.

Dr. Novoa also discussed the cutting edge technology known as stem cell rejuvenation and received a special stem cell solution from his own body to improve his recovery and also to rejuvenate both his body and face. Although not currently available in the United States, stem cell rejuvenation is currently available in Mexico and Europe.
