In this video, I'll show how I diagnosed my faulty cooling fan motor on my 1990 Oldsmobile 98 Regency Brougham. Be careful when messing with electrical. Jumping alligator clips from the battery to the fan motor burned my finger tips due to a short in the motor. I repaired the fusible link with an in-line fuse holder from Walmart, using a 25 amp fuse.
