BTS has reached their dreams, sharing their passion all around the world. But their superstar status also limits them in doing even the simplest things.

It's certainly hard for BTS to go on dates since people would easily recognize them in public. But instead of complaining about it, the boys seemed to have accepted their fate. However, that didn't stop Hobi from yearning to have a special someone in his life.

Hobi doesn't really talk about his love life or the dating rumors swirling around the web. But when he feels the need for love and affection, he goes online and chats with ARMY. These Hobi live streams have been feeding ARMY's delulu for years. So when Hobi was asked who "Sweet Dreams" was meant for, ARMY believed it was for them.

Speaking of dating rumors, Hobi was romantically linked to two women. Model Irene Kim (who is now married to someone who is not Hobi) and TWICE's Nayeon. However, the only "proof" of these alleged relationships was similar fashion choices, poses, and visited places.

The only confirmed relationship of Hobi was the one he himself shared at the beginning of his career. Fast forward to 2025, and Hobi was still seemingly traumatized by the cause of that breakup. Hobi previously shared that his playlist reflects his mental state. So when his playlist was all about an ex in one of his livestreams, it caused quite a stir.

While in the middle of his Hope On The Stage tour, Hobi wore a shirt with a very interesting text. Hobi shared that he just finds it amusing, but a committed man should know to never wear shirts like that if they want to keep the relationship. So I bet he was single. At least at that time...

The truth is that Hobi is already in a committed relationship. For 12 long years. That's right, Hobi's commitment is to his job. In fact, his deep passion for his craft is the reason why he didn't see marriage happening for him. Hobi is extremely organized and an incredible planner.

His manager revealed his plans after his military service, and it was pretty shocking. With that work schedule, Hobi is definitely not ready to be in a serious, committed relationship. But of course, he can go out on dates during these three years if he wants to. But certainly not marriage.
