Epic 15 Day Road Trip around National Parks
We started driving from San Diego to Las Vegas where we picked up our cousins who were visiting from Australia. They’ve planned this road trip, and offered us to come along. Of course, we happily accepted the invitation, and were so excited to have the opportunity to see National Parks in the US. First day, drove to Grand Canyon where we stayed at a Tiny house nearby for one night. Next day, from Grand Canyon to Monument Valley, Utah. Stayed overnight at Monument Valley Lodge. We visited Utah Arches National Park, then drove to Grand Junction, Colorado where we spent one night. Next day, we visited the Colorado National Park, Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, and Denver downtown. We stayed 2 nights in Denver. From there, we went to MT Rushmore National Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park and Wildlife Loop. Following day we stopped by Deadwood town, and went to Devils Tower National Monument. Stayed overnight in Sheridan, Wyoming before driving towards Yellowstone, Idaho, where we stayed 3 nights to see some of the must see of Yellowstone National Park. Next were Grand Teton and Jenny Lake. We ended up in Rexburg, Idaho where we spent one night. Next morning, we sighted seeing Bonneville Salt Flats, visited Salt Lake City, and stay overnight there. The 2 last parks were Bryce Canyon National Park, stayed one night in Cedar city. Then, Zion National Park. Driving back to Las Vegas for dinnertime. We drove total 4500 miles for this road trip. We so happy and enjoy it
