Fisher FP404 Flight Review

Описание к видео Fisher FP404 Flight Review

This POV video of the Fisher FP404 flight review is intended to accompany my article in the December 2020 edition of Microlight Flying. The camera was mounted on my head. My field of view was better than the camera angle shows.

As this was the first flight in the UK by anyone other than Valter Paderni, the Italian constructor and previous owner, I chose a calm day and took things cautiously. However, the quality of the build is such that I would not hesitate to fly it again. I am sure that it would easily loop, which of course is allowed for an SSDR, and being a well designed biplane it is enormously strong.

It really was easy to fly, with no vices, just a slight drop of the port wings at the stall. For someone who doesn't do a lot of tail dragging it was surprisingly easy to steer on the ground. Even if it had been windy I don't think this would have been difficult, with its individual toe brakes and fairly level attitude.

Can't wait for my next flight. The new owner, David Balbert was kind enough to invite me to return.
