Deaf Health Talks are regular, virtual live stream health education monthly events hosted by MDisability at the University of Michigan for Deaf signers, with available closed captions for non-signers. These presentations, covering current health topics, are given mainly by different Deaf health experts' education forums in ASL to generate an accessible health education platform for Deaf and hard of hearing community members. These presentations are free and open to the public and provide opportunities for community members to ask questions in an interactive question-and-answer forum.

MDisability is a collaborative family medicine program based at the University of Michigan focused on improving the primary care of people with disabilities through medical education, research, clinical care, and community partnerships.

Partners in Deaf Health has provided support for ASL. Partners in Deaf Health's mission is to promote an understanding of the health needs of culturally Deaf people. Part of its goal is to bring together Deaf people, public health researchers, and healthcare providers for healthier Deaf communities.

Current programs and activities include participation in the Deaf Health Talks; community-based research and health fairs; health advocacy; health care provider cultural competency education; and the provision of community grants for health care improvement.
