Thriving Through Turbulent Times | Prerana Gambhir | TEDxSFU

Taking the opportunity to succeed in uncertainty can be a breakthrough not only for yourself but an inspiration for many to also challenge the status quo. Nobody likes adversity; challenges can be rewarding but adversity is unfair because adversity fights the dirty. Through her talk, Prerana shares the stories that have allowed her to succeed in turmoil at each phase of her life and invites viewers to take the opportunity to confront unconventionality and thrive through their turbulent times - no matter how big or small. Prerana is a social entrepreneur, engineer and risk-taker whose primary focus has always been to take her work to the edge of her technological abilities for the public good. She immigrated to Canada as a child and has since lived in over 5 cities across the US, UK, and Canada. Prerana is currently working in big tech as a product manager while continuing to scale her own start-up which uses a decentralized drone-based system to prevent the losses inflicted by wildfires.
