In this video, I compare the PlatinumLED BioMAX version 1 and version 2. Here's what I found:

✅ There's no actual naming difference between the new and old panel! Both panels are called "PlatinumLED BioMAX!" If you recently ordered a panel though, you'll be getting the newer version
✅ The price of the new model has not been changed either! Discount code ALEX still gives you 5% off also!
✅ If you multiple panels, you get a bigger discount also!
✅ Power output has increased dramatically. The generation 1 panels were already very powerful. The new panels have completely new LEDs. My quick testing with my spectrometer shows there's a big difference
✅ PlatinumLED has stayed with 3W LEDs and not implemented 5W versions. I still get higher power outputs with these LEDs than many of the 5W generation LEDs of competitors emit though
✅ The new LEDs are new and improved, with higher quality and higher power output
✅ The internal mechanisms of the panel has also been overhauled
✅ Wavelengths haven't changed at all. The new panel has the same wavelength output as the old one. 80% of the power goes to 660 and 850nm wavelengths.
✅ Design has barely changed from the front. Branding is different. The cabling has changed a bit the new unit too, for instance. The control panel has also been extensively overhauled!
✅ The new control panel has a really unique option to distribute power output over different wavelengths. The option is extremely easy to set up.
✅ I love how simple the control panel is
✅ The new handgrip has a great handgrip. I love the new handgrip with the new panel!
✅ Newer panels have a wireless connectivity function, which is quite neat! The panels can be used more effectively together if you use 3 or more panels. The wireless function is automatically disabled!
