Lechon Paksiw, Ginataang Langka & Filipino Groceries 🇵🇭 | Trying Filipino Food New Jersey

Описание к видео Lechon Paksiw, Ginataang Langka & Filipino Groceries 🇵🇭 | Trying Filipino Food New Jersey

Filipino food fills the restaurants around West Side Avenue in Jersey City. From Ginataang Langka (jackfruit in coconut milk) to Lechon Paksiw (pork stewed in garlic and vinegar), I try authentic Philippine dishes for the first time. New Jersey has some of the best Filipino food in America and the home cooking taste shines through making the short train from Manhattan worth the trip. I also toured a Filipino grocery store to pick up some banana sauce (jufran), Suka Pinakurat Sawsawan Ng Bayan (spicy coconut vinegar) and longganisa (Filipino sweet sausage) for the road.
