Fel Hounds of Sargeras Guide - Heroic/Normal Antorus Guide

Fel Hounds of Sargeras guide! F'harg and Shatug together are the Fel Hounds in the upcoming raid, Antorus the Burning Throne. This is a Heroic Fel Hounds of Sargeras and Normal Fel Hounds of Sargeras boss guide for Antorus, the Burning Throne. Antorus, the Burning Throne is the new raid coming in Patch 7.3 and Fel Hounds of Sargeras is an early boss- you can fight Fel Hounds second after Garothi. This is a Heroic and Normal F'harg and Shatug guide using footage from the raid testing on the PTR. Any major changes to the Fel Hounds of Sargeras mechanics on live servers will be noted in a pinned comment below this boss guide video.

Fel Hounds of Sargeras in Antorus, the Burning Throne is a two-boss fight where you battle with F'harg and Shatug. My dislike for F'harg's name is not fel hound discrimination but rather due to my inability to say it without feeling like I'm coughing. Each boss has their own energy bar, and they each have special abilities that they use at 33 and 100 energy. On Heroic Fel Hounds and above, they each gain an additional ability to use at 66 energy. They gain energy unevenly and don't start at 0, so you'll be dealing with various mechanics from both F'harg and Shatug simultaneously. F'harg has fire mechanics that generally want you to spread out and isolate players, while Shatug has stacking mechanics that need to be split with other players. Managing both stack and spread mechanics at once is the main challenge of this fight.

Each of the Fel Hounds of Sargeras has a Maw mechanic for the tanks, which is a frontal cleave that stacks a DoT. Use mitigation to manage the damage and face the Fel Hounds in Antorus away from the raid. You may need a cooldown at 5-6 stacks for Corrupting Maw or Burning Maw. There is no tank swap needed on the Fel Hounds of Sargeras boss fight. Shatug and F'harg share a health pool, and this should be a strong fight for multidotters.
