The F6: Melbourne's Forgotten Freeways

Описание к видео The F6: Melbourne's Forgotten Freeways

The F6 was one of the longest freeways proposed in the 1969 Melbourne Transportation Plan.

Running a massive 91 kilometres between the F5 (today the M80 Ring Road) and Safety Beach on the Mornington Peninsula, it would have been a significant north-south route through the eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The proposed route ran through many suburbs, including Preston, Alphington, Camberwell, East Malvern, Moorabbin and Mount Eliza.
