Seamless Repeat in iPad & Desktop Illustrator! From Repeat, to Pattern Mode, to Fill Swatch!

I show you the process of creating a repeat pattern in Illustrator on the iPad, then I open the pattern file in Illustrator on the desktop and show you how to work with it in Pattern Editing mode to create a pattern fill swatch. The pattern begins as a half drop repeat on the iPad and ends up as a grid repeat in the fill swatch. Along the way you'll learn a bit about the differences between the 2 pattern features in Illustrator: Repeat and Pattern. It's a longer tutorial than usual because we move from the iPad to the desktop and I share many tips along the way!
