This is the second class in the Ashtanga Beginners Series with Nea Ferrier. We recommend you watch the first class in the series first before commencing the second class. In this class, we will explore the Surya Namaskar and the first six fundamental standing postures(Padangusthasana, Padahastasana, Utthitatrikonasana, Utthitaparsvakonasana, Prasarita Padottanasana, Parsvottanasana and Finishing sequence).
Nea is a KPJAYI level II authorized teacher of Ashtanga Yoga and the founder of Ashtanga Yoga Dubai. Originally from Sydney, Nea has shared her love of Ashtanga Yoga with students in Australia, China, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Turkey and now Dubai.
She has spent the last ten years making annual trips to Mysore, India to study with her teacher Sharath Jois, of the Ashtanga Yoga Institute, where she is learning the Advanced A series. www.ashtangayogadubai.com
