Qur’an reminders mentioned: – “O believers! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance.” (66:8)
– “Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.” (39:53)
– “Indeed, good deeds erase bad deeds.” (11:114)
Hadith reminders mentioned: – The Prophet ﷺ asked Allah for forgiveness more than seventy times a day.
– Allah accepts repentance until the soul reaches the throat.
– Whoever turns back sincerely, Allah welcomes them.
How to repent sincerely:
Stop the sin
Feel real regret
Ask Allah for forgiveness
Promise not to return (and if you fall again, return again)
If you hurt someone, try to make it right
May this reminder strengthen our hearts and remind us that Allah’s mercy is always greater than our sins.
