This week Paul talks about celebrity thief and serial jailbreaker, jack Sheppard. Really the Robin Hood of his day and more, as Robin Hood may not have existed. Jack Sheppard definitely did. He would escape jail four times in a single year, even from the unescapable depths of Newgate, and with each his fame increased and he earned a permanent place as a romantic folk hero. This is his story.
