Engine Noise Diagnosis-Part 1

Home DIY Mechanic diagnosing an internal engine noise. Normally I do this using a method I developed using a screwdriver (shown in another of my videos- "How To Test Rod Knock Using a Screwdriver" (   • How to test for Rod Knock using a scr...  )
but here I try to use the more traditional tactic of testing by ear using cylinder drop test--- I personally much prefer my screwdriver method because I have no ear for this kind of thing and it is less subjective, at least I think--- see what you think.

I apologize on the timing light scene- while editing it seemed the flashes didn't show up and I made a comment as such, but in the final product they did show up perfectly fine so ignore the comment and I hope the comment doesn't block your view too much.
