Thank you for watching the second part of our video for the 2014 Toyota Avalon front bumper cover. Our last video was on removing the bumper and accessories. Removing and as you will soon see, installing the bumper is pretty easy and quick. It's removing all the bumper components and transferring them to the new bumper that takes such a long time. This was our first time working on the Avalon front bumper, so the bulk of our two videos is definitely just replacing the grilles and foglights.

TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a Philips screwdriver, a panel clip removal too or a flat-head screwdriver, and a 10mm socket.

PROCESS:
Hopefully, you watched our last video or the first part of this series. We like to work immediately where we ended the removal process. We started by snapping on the lower trim piece. This slots in fairly easy and you can use the holes on each end as a guide. Once you hear it snap-in, you are set. Everything is going to have to snap in on this bumper, so keep that in mind. The top grille is the easier grille to install. It clips into the top of the bumper and is secured with 3 screws, one on each end and one in the middle. So far, it's pretty easy. We then moved to the lower grille which can be a bit tougher. The only reason we say this is the bumper is made of plastic. So, if it's bent too much it may seem like the grille doesn't fit. This grille slots in just like the other pieces. Be sure that you have all the tabs in before you force them into the bumper. There are 4 screws that secure the bumper. Once your lower grille is in, the bumper should be a lot sturdier than before. Now, we can make our way to the fog lights, which are some of the easiest fog lights to install. Get the fog light bezel and snap it into the bumper first before you put the lights in. This bumper has two light fixtures that screw into the bumper with a total of 6 screws. Very easy and a very straightforward job. Lastly, there are these plastic clips that need to be installed on the bottom of the bumper. Without these clips, the bottom cover won't attach to the bumper.

Now, we are ready to install the bumper. This is pretty easy to do, you just have to plug the foglights in before mounting the bumper. The bumper snaps onto the fender ends and under the foglights. This can be a lot easier than it sounds but once you get one end snapped in, the bumper should hold up. Once you snapped it onto the car, it may be best to clip it to the top so it doesn't fall down. Insert the lower bolts and the 2 side screws. The fender liner may seem a bit more difficult because the plastic doesn't always quite mold to the bumper. Once you have everything attached you are set!
