FIRST LOOK - 1972 De Tomaso Pantera Custom Coupe "ADRNLN" - BARRETT-JACKSON 2022 SCOTTSDALE

“ADRNLN” is a fully customized Pantera that was reimagined by the legendary ‪@Ringbrothers‬ to combine the best styling and performance elements of Italian and American sports cars. This award-winner — it received “Best in Show” honors during its debut at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (‪@semashow‬) trade show, among many other accolades — has a ‪@HolleyPerformance‬ fuel-injection-equipped Wegner Motorsports LS3 V8, a ZF 5-speed manual gearbox, and headers with ‪@FlowmasterInc‬ stainless-steel mufflers. Beautiful to look at and blindingly fast on the road, “ADRNLN” showcases bright yellow paint that immediately evokes the idea of speed and rides on 3-piece forged ‪@HREWheels‬ wrapped in ‪@NittoChannel‬ Invo tires. Ringbrothers reimagined this Pantera using subtle design curves like small wheel flares and custom rocker panels with carbon-fiber brake cooling ducts. A carbon-fiber rear diffuser and hood pay stylistic homage to Ford’s legendary GT40 race car. The same quality and attention to detail paid to the bodywork and mechanical parts can be found in the fully custom leather interior. High-end features include a modernized instrument cluster, a remote start system and power doors. The driver’s side of the cockpit is handsomely trimmed out in black leather, while the passenger side is adorned in a bright yellow hue to match the exterior. Prestone acquired "ADRNLN," and it was displayed in the ‪@PetersenMuseum‬ alongside Elvis' 1971 De Tomaso Pantera for a time. It was then transported around the country as a promotional vehicle for Prestone in shows and rallies.
