When I look out my window, one peak stares back at me. It's the peak that lines the backdrop of our main street in town. Mount Macpherson is a stunner. It's not technical like it's sister Mount Begbie, but reaching the summit is still a properly long day.

After 1800 meters of skinning you are rewarded with a classic, direct route back to town. The descent follows The Womb - a 1300 meter slide path that begins in the alpine and ends well below treeline. Even though we skied it in variable conditions, it was easily one of my favourite days of the season so far.

There's something special about being up in the hills with good friends, sunny skies, and two pieces of wood strapped to your feet. Ah I love touring.
