1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Restoration : Americas First Production Front Wheel Drive Car!

Hey viewers! Thanks for watching the restoration of this 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado V8 restoration. This was Americas first production front wheel drive automobile as the predecessor of the Cord 810/812 that was built back in the late 1930s but was not a production car. Factory red metallic paint with a red on red interior. The vehicle is sporting a Oldsmobile Rocket 425ci V8 with GM Turbo - Hydromatic automatic transmission with about 385hp. The vehicle was famous for its trans axle front wheel drive, unique styling points, and its 7 shock absorbers. One of my favorite things about this car is the the unique built in floor liner tray.
