Check out this video to see my mom making yummy fried boulanger and to see me making healthy oats roti to go with it. She actually makes the best fried boulanger and we all love it. In this video, she’s sharing her method of cooking this dish. She seasoned her chicken pieces with a little green seasoning, salt, blackpepper and all purpose seasoning. After heating the oil, she fried the chicken a little, then add chopped onions, garlic, peppers, scallion (eschallot) and cilantro. She cooked that a bit before adding the sliced potatoes and boulanger. Later she added the chopped tomatoes and cooked until everything was boiled and garnished it with cilantro. Next I made healthy oats roti. I added 1 1/2 cups of oats flour to 1 1/2 cups of boiling water with a little salt and oil. I mixed it until all of the oats flour was absorbed in the water and let it sit for a while and cool down. After that I made little balls and rolled them out and cooked them on a tawa.
