In today's "Behind The Build" I am joined by Ian Krog to talk about the new jump line that he built at Snow Vally Bike Park. Ian has quietly made a name for himself in the are with is operating prowess, and knack for building sick bike trails. Some may know him for his designs at Skypark Bike Park, but now he has a much bigger canvas with all of Snow Valley!

When Snow Valley opened I was not impressed with the initial trail designs or overall creativity. That all changed once they hired Ian as their head of park staff (among other titles this dude does it all!)

I thought it would be cool to walk the new lower section of the advanced jump line, and ask Ian about the building process and what equipment he uses for this build. Coming from the hand built (one shovel) method I was curious to hear the differences, and perhaps learn a little more about how he built such a good line. Although these jumps are big, they feel easy and the bike just seems to float through them effortlessly. This can only be attributed to Ian's design ability, and the fact that he can shred with the best of them!
