This is the first behind-the-scenes (composite breakdown) video I'm posting. I shot this straight bourbon whisky to practice a few techniques I learned recently. It was my first time using clear ice instead of plastic cubes, which gave an interesting look but shorter sessions. I forgot to film when shooting the glass as I was too focused on getting the shots before the ice melted but the technique was the same as the bottle, lighting from one side using gradient diffusion, a reflection on the opposite side, and a gold card reflecting through the liquid.
