Being a student pilot is absolutely amazing. Most of the early flight lessons are in the pattern at your home airport. The first time you actually leave the pattern to fly somewhere else is truly a milestone and an awesome experience. Learning to land an airplane is so hard at first and it makes you concentrate so much, that flying somewhere else is really nice. It feels really good when you fly to another airport and do touch and go landings, which allows for more landings as opposed to taxi backs. The pilot journey is incredible! Let's fly!
