It Took Us 4 Months But We Finally Visited Waterbom Bali - Fun for the Kids (fear for me!)

It took us 5 months of being here before we visited. And we're glad we did. A fun wet day in Bali.

Some tips to remember to make your visit enjoyable:
It's a cashless site. So you top up a wrist band at reception desk and use it throughout the park on food, drinks, ice creams etc. What you don't spend you get refunded back.

There are lockers to hire to keep belongings in. People mostly walk around in their swimwear and it feels completely normal to do so. Leave you stuff in the lockers and you can always go back for them (it's not far).

You can hire gazebos to sit at - yours for the day - we didn't but I think we would next time so we have a base.

Though there are many free sunbeds to base yourselves at. But get there early to get a sun bed as we arrived around noon and there wasn't any left. Once people leave, beds come free and we ended up getting 3 beds together at around 3pm.

The food to be pretty decent and well priced considering it's for tourists. For example a slice of pizza cost around 35k IDR which is about £1.72. You can bring your own snacks and food too.

Rides are labelled by category of fear / speed / wetness and there's something for everybody. Even the ver little ones have a big kiddy pool with little slides to play on.

There's a souvenir shop at the reception

Photographs of the day can be bought at the end when you hand a wristband in. There are photographers on the park taking pics.

We didn't take our GoPro or Gimble camera but saw many people that had them so we think it's ok to shoot content so long as you're polite and follow the etiquette. But please check first as we mostly had our phones in lockers so didn't take many photos or vids.
