You can use the test mode on your SkyControl to test the responsiveness of your sensors or to prevent false alarms when you need to change batteries or make adjustments to a device
To place your system in test mode, tap the menu icon from the home screen
Tap Û÷Security Ûª on the left side of the screen and enter your 4-Digit PIN
Then tap Û÷System test Ûª
Once your system is in test mode, you can trigger the devices in your home to see their responsiveness to the panel. When a sensor is triggered, it will move to the bottom of the list and display a response rating to the right
The bars indicate the proximity to the panel, not the sensor Ûªs responsiveness. As long as the sensor reads Û÷Triggered, Ûª it is communicating properly
If nothing happens when you trigger a sensor, the sensor may have a bad battery or have a loss of communication. If you have changed the batteries and can Ûªt get a response from the sensor, contact customer care for additional support
To continue on to a system audio test, tap Û÷Next. Ûª You can also tap Û÷Security Ûª to exit the test mode when you are done
