This video explores the algebra journey students take from grade 2 to high school. This is the first of the two videos. It covers grade 2 to grade 6 where students at grade 4-6 already can solve difficult problems without the use of formal algebra (equations). They use the model method and alternative ways to solve algebraic problems. The model method proved to be an excellent way to help students solve complex algebra problems.

Later, I will have a second video showing how some very complex problems could be solved by the model method and then how high school algebra comes into the picture.
