Video log of a morning/midday trip to Paint Creek in Allamakee County on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Paint Creek contains wild brown trout as well as stocked and holdover rainbow trout.

My friend Dre and I continued our upstream exploration of this creek. The section in this video is heavily pressured and straddles the southern city limits of Waterville along Busness Hill Road.

Dre and his Oni Type-I landed both the smallest brown trout (thumbnail pic) and the largest (by a considerable margin).
