Jeffrey was a lifelong atheist who mocked the idea of God. On July 25, 2020, he suffered his seventh stroke on his sailboat in North Carolina. Blood stopped flowing to his brain for 52 minutes. His last words before collapsing? "If you're real, show me something."
God showed him everything.
Jeffrey descended into a darkness he knew was hell — chased by unseen beings, unable to escape. When he saw a pinhole of light above him, something kept pulling him away from it. Every attempt failed. Just as he was about to give up, a voice spoke: "This is your last chance." A hand pulled him up through a white tunnel — and into the presence of God.
What followed was a life review that exposed every secret, every suicide attempt, every moment God had intervened without Jeffrey knowing. He saw a white cross and heard God say words that changed everything: "You tell everyone you see what you saw down there and what you saw up here. And you tell them I am coming."
Today Jeffrey runs a restaurant called Breaking Bread and lives for the God he once dared to show up.
