As members of Harry Hudson's band were changeable, the exact personnel for this recording is not known. They were certainly a talented ensemble featuring good solo work.
This is the second of my selection of six records where Al Bowlly takes the vocal, This being the only one of the half dozen in which he is joined by Les Allen. When Allen sang with Bowlly, the emphasis seemed to be on Allen. In this instance Al is to the fore and even sings a couple of lines alone.
A copy of this record (not this one), sold on e-Bay recently for almost £200. The buyer has not deigned to share it... surprise, surprise, so I'll do it for them.

Recorded c. 28th November 1930
