This #YouthWorkWeek, we're celebrating modern-day superheroes. In a year where a global pandemic has exacerbated issues for young people including employment, mental health and digital exclusion, we've commissioned an interactive mural near London’s Brick Lane to celebrate five remarkable youth work champions.

Shay is a youth project manager at Breakin Convention – which supports young people who have been isolated from mainstream #education or with a deep-rooted interest in music, through the power of hip-hop dance theatre.

Their individual stories are incredible but this artwork is also about recognising every youth worker across our country. Every person working and changing young lives each day. You have tirelessly supported young people over what has been a devastating 18 months – and you are all heroes.
