🔴Chainsaw Man Creator's New Anime Looks Stunning in Incredible New Trailer🔴

Earlier in 2024, it was announced that Look Back, a one-shot manga by Chainsaw Man’s Tatsuki Fujimoto, would be receiving a feature film adaptation in June of the same year. Look Back was a major hit with fans and critics alike, so learning it would be animated was nothing short of incredible – and quickly excited fans of Fujimoto's work around the world.

Look Back is set to premiere in just a couple of months, and a brand-new trailer to promote the film has finally been released. The trailer finally gives people a real glimpse at what the film will be like, and sure enough, Look Back appears to be a gorgeous film with incredible animation from start to finish.

Above all else, what best sells Look Back’s first full trailer is how authentic it is to the original manga. For starters, the art and animation in Look Back’s trailer showcase a level of fluidity unlike any other upcoming anime project, all of which is perfectly in line with the intricate details and cinematographic nature of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s artwork. Add in how effortlessly Studio Durian and director Kiyotaka Oshiyama replicated the character designs, and Look Back is already doing a great job of capturing the manga’s visual aesthetic.

More important, of course, is how Look Back’s trailer captures the emotional aspect of the manga. Look Back is famously one of the most emotional and human stories of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s career, and sure enough, the voice acting in Look Back’s trailer, coupled with the melancholic tone of haruka nakamura’s “Light song”, does an excellent job of selling the tone of the film as a gripping emotional drama from start to finish. Overall, everyone involved with Look Back seems to be doing a great job of translating it into animation, and the finished product is sure to look even better.
