10 tips for new FY1 Doctors - What I wish I knew

Описание к видео 10 tips for new FY1 Doctors - What I wish I knew

It's been over a year since I graduated medical school and started working as a junior doctor in the NHS (a journey that started earlier than expected due to the pandemic). Overall, I found the year challenging and enjoyable, and there was definitely a steep learning curve that medical school didn't entirely prepare me for. Here are 10 tips I have compiled for new junior doctors starting work in the NHS - these are the things I have learnt in the past year, and things I wish I had known when I started.

If you have any questions about being a junior doctor, leave a comment below and I'll try to answer them :)

*Disclaimer as usual - this is my own opinion only!! There are many other things I would have liked to mention, but this video is already getting too long. If you'd like me to talk about other aspects of working as a junior doc let me know!*
