In the dark days of winter the DRS Class 37 loco hauled passenger trains on the Cumbrian Coast were due to come to an end on the 28th of December. I spent the last two weeks filming these. Principally at Askam in Furness but other locations include Kirkby, Park South, Sowerby Lodge, Dunnerholme and Thwaites Flat in variable weather conditions. Locos are 47 424 'Avro Vulcan 588', 37 425 'Concrete Bob-Sir Robert MaCalpine' and 37 401 'Mary Queen of Scots'
