Scooter Craze – Bird and Lime

Who would have thought that Xiaomi, the so-called Apple of China, would have a breakout hit in the US with electric scooters? Xiaomi, one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturers, is now a leading supplier of scooters for transit startups inspired by companies like Uber and Lyft. LA is dealing with a surge of electric scooter and the companies running them – Bird and Lime rebranded Xiami scooters and deployed them accross US cities. Since this Scooter Craze started in LA and now San Francisco, these companies have become unicorns. In this video, I'm trying a Bird scooter with my friends.
