On Friday 9th December, I went back to Liverpool onboard 390135 (not refurbished) with the 0807 departure from London Euston. Calling at: Milton Keynes Central, Stafford, Runcorn and Liverpool Lime Street. This train stopped at Wembley Central due to a signal failure and arrived into Liverpool 9 minutes late. I upgraded to first class with Seatfrog which was £37. Seatfrog auctions start about 24 hours before your train leaves and end 30 minutes before your train leaves. Sometimes, Seatfrog upgrades aren't always available when travelling with Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, EMR, Grand Cancel, GWR, LNER or Transpennine Express, whether it's during weekends or the service you're travelling on is sold out in first class. As of the timetable change, the only Avanti West Coast Liverpool services to not stop at Crewe (Mondays to Fridays) are 1R12 0604 and 1R18 0643 from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston. 1R12 calls at: Runcorn, Stafford, Lichfield Trent Valley, Tamworth, Rugby and London Euston while 1R18 only calls at Runcorn before running non-stop to London Euston.
