Not only does a blower door measure air leakage in a building enclosure, it can help locate the leaks as well. Using a thermal camera with a blower door is one of the best ways to make air leaks visable. The blower door works as an amplifier for the camera. As the leaks are exaggerated by the fan, they show up nice and clear on camera. Its best to start of at a low pressure to get a better picture of where the leak originates before depressurizing the building to -50 Pa.
