Hike & Fly Vigiljoch 06/07.01.2023 Skywalk Masala 3, Gin Yeti 5

Crappy weather here in Austria for what seems like months, so we drove down to South Tirol in the north of Italy to do some Hike & Fly. 1150m ascent in about 2.5 hours. At times the path gets really steep. The official landing field is easy to find and it is just a 20 minute walk from there back to the car in Lana where we started out. Fantastic scenery and a great flying site.
Beware, it is no longe allowed to land at the horse race track in Merano. There is another small landing field, but it is also surrounded by apple plantations so there is absolutely NO room for error. I strongly recommend using the landing field we used in the vid. We parked directly in Lana. The path is signposted from the river bridge in Lana. Route 34.
PS. the vid is made from clips shot over 2 days.
