Canon EOS R5 & R6 Firmware 1.1.1 update! Plus R6 Overheating Test
Well, there is a new firmware out for both the R5 and R6. Yup firmware 1.1.1. Now for some of us with the Canon EOS R6, this is our first firmware update. And for others, their R6 came with 1.1. But in this video, we are gonna show you how to do the firmware update as well as a before and after the overheating test. With the previous firmware on the Canon EOS R6, we got 36mins in 4K 24p before the overheating warning and another 4 mins before it shut down. Giving us just over 40mins in total. With the new firmware (1.1.1) we got 1 hour and 5 mins before we got an overheating warning and around 1 hour 14 mins before it shut down. What a huge improvement!
