Bahia Honda State Park located in the Florida Keys has been one of our family's favorite beach destinations, it is a beautiful place and it has a certain atmosphere that makes it quite unique.

Every time we go there I enjoy each second in it, since my first visit I became obsessed with the idea of making a video about the park, I gave it a couple of shots using my phone in one occasion and I took a GoPro with me the second time, but I never managed to capture what I really wanted and the essence of this Secret Place, as we like to call it.

For several months now, I've been practicing and studying new camera movements, composition techniques, in camera transitions, and many more things that gave me new tools to help me obtain the images that needed to put together a good video, I'm also improving my editing skills on Premiere Pro and learning the wonders of After Effects, all of this gave me the confidence to go back to Bahia Honda and give it another try.

Here is the result, my first travel video, I hope you enjoy it.

Note: you cannot use drones in bahia honda, the drone shots taken for this video were done from outside the park boundaries and the drone never went inside the park.
