Divyansh Harshit Srivastava born in a musical family where he has taken his initial lessons of music from his father Shree Govind Kumar Verma ji ,further he started the journey of santoor and became the disciple of Santoor Maestro Pandit Bhajan Sopori Ji of sufiyana gharana kashmir . He started taking lessons of santoor from him in guru shishya parampara , also under the guidance from "Prince of strings" sh Abhay Rustam sopori ji too .

Divyansh plays the santoor as per the style of Sopori Baaj santoor which is being created by pandit Bhajan Sopori Ji , which has all the essentials of Indian classical music i.e Meend, khatka,murki, jamjama,krintan,sparsh swars, glides,sustain of one note and etc ..

Divyansh has performed many prestigious stage of the country like, SaMaPa sangeet Sammelan, Hariwallabh Sangeet Sammelan, Mahindra Kabeera festival, Ganga Mahotsav, Sangeet Natak academy, Azadi ka amrit mahotsav and etc . And played santoor in many of the tracks of film,telefilm, web series , documentry, songs etc.

He is graduated in commerce and masters in Music from Delhi University , he is a junior research fellowship (JRF) awardee and persuing PhD on santoor subject from Delhi University.
