Roundtable ‘Defining a deepened and widened Europe. Different perspectives on the future of the EU’

The Elcano Royal Institute and ‪@EgmontInstitute‬ organised the roundtable ‘Defining an Enlarged and Deepened Europe’ to analyse two key issues for the future of Europe after the elections: enlargement and EU reform.

This seminar, held in the context of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, aimed to promote cooperation between the think tanks in Spain and Belgium, with participation from speakers from Latvia, North Macedonia, and Poland. The event was concluded by the Secretary of State for the European Union and the Director General for European Affairs of the Belgian Government.

El Real Instituto Elcano y @EgmontInstitute organizaron la mesa redonda ‘Defining a deepened and widened Europe. Different perspectives on the future of the EU’ para analizar dos cuestiones clave para el futuro de Europa tras las elecciones: la ampliación y la reforma de la UE.

Este seminario, celebrado en el contexto de la Presidencia belga del Consejo de la UE, tuvo como objetivo promover la cooperación entre los think tanks de España y Bélgica, con la participación de ponentes de Letonia, Macedonia del Norte y Polonia. El acto fue clausurado por el Secretario de Estado para la Unión Europea y el director general de Asuntos Europeos del Gobierno belga.
