Here are 4 totally useless but cool commands in Linux

cmatrix

The 'c-matrix' command can be installed via package manager like apt or yum, and run by typing 'c-matrix' in terminal. It displays scrolling green characters on black background, similar to the Matrix movie. It can be used to impress friends.

sl

The sl command can be installed via package manager like apt or yum. Once installed, you can run the command by typing 'sl' in the terminal.

The 'sl' (Steam Locomotive) command is a small program that simulates a steam locomotive running across the terminal. It is often used as a fun way to impress others or just to have something to look at when you're bored.

fortune

The fortune command is usually installed via the package manager of your Linux distribution

Once installed, you can run the command by typing 'fortune' in the terminal. It will then displays a random, humorous or inspirational message in the terminal.

It is typically used to display a different message each time it is run, and it is usually run in combination with the 'cowsay' command to display the message in an ASCII art style of a cow.

hollywood

The 'hollywood' command can be installed via package manager like apt or yum.

Once installed, you can run the command by typing 'hollywood' in the terminal.

Basically, it runs in Byobu Window Manager and it creates a random number of random sized split windows and runs a noisy text app in each of them.
