Today after very early start the installation of a 4.22:1 rear differential in Bertie the A30 was completed followed by an afternoon test drive to Kirkcudbright. Very pleased with the upgrade. Noticably more relaxed cruising and best of all the second hand diff bought off ebay for £85 plus postage performed without any untoward noises or other signs of excessive gear wear. Had a nice walk around town with the dogs followed by icecreams by the Dee.
