This is my full upload of the source audio for the current queue music for the Alice in Wonderland dark ride at Disneyland, used ever since the end of the major 1982-84 refurbishment, the biggest ever of this attraction. This loop is actually over 26 minutes total, which is exactly why it's only played once (In it's entirety) in this video, primarily so the still many pictures wouldn't be at an even slower pace than if I did decide to loop it. This video consists of many pictures that are all of the façade/exterior of this ride since 1984. The very first one, is actually from 1984, followed by a 1980's promotional image (Which I cut into two to better fit the aspect ratio), a 1985 Skyway image, a 1980's side view (From Daveland), a couple from the mid 1990's, several from the 2000's & early 2010's, and the rest are my own from Nov 2021 & Sept 2022. I chose to use as many images as I could between 1984 and 2010, because 2010 was when they put that awful "quick fix box" that covered the vine, and then almost 4 years later in 2014 the ride underwent another major refurbishment, when they rebuilt the vine to it's current form. There are 3 pictures during those 4 years, two from my own family's collection in Sept 2010 of the left side of the façade, and a 2012 image from Daveland, of the old (1984-2014) Mad Tea Party sign near the right of the façade. However, despite that I think the old Vine looked better, I still used several of my own, more recent pictures closer to the end of the video, first two from November 2021, and the rest are from my recent Sept 2022 trip. At almost half an hour, this loop consists of many renditions of the classic songs played throughout the movie and ride. It starts with the full opening song from the film, which was also the original area music from 1958. After that, most of the rest of the loop is instrumentals of the various songs from this movie, including I'm Late, Golden Afternoon, Twas Brillig, Painting the Roses Red, The Unbirthday Song, even Walrus and the Carpenter (Not in the ride), as well as another beautiful rendition of the opening song. Much of this audio was recorded for the 1984 version of the ride, although the first five minutes or so have audio that predates the 1984 ride. Of course, the opening song was recorded for the 1951 film, and even the next few instrumentals (Before the I'm Late reprise at 4:56), were made for the 1955 Fantasyland West & East Food Stands, which lasted until the 1982-84 New Fantasyland revamp. This area music was one of many wonderful things to come out of that revamp. Huge thanks to Alex R for requesting that I upload this loop, because it really is one of my favorites in the park, and captures the spirit of the ride and film extremely well. I hope you enjoy it!
